By putting down a deposit on a puppy, the buyer understands that they are COMMITTING to buy this puppy, and that this deposit is therefore NON-REFUNDABLE.
When you decide on a Breed you should keep a few things in mind.
Berner Facts:
“Small fenced yards should be viewed as a place of convenience and safety but not as a place for adequate exercise for this moderately active breed. Plan a minimum of 30 minutes of moderately active exercise daily. A well-mannered dog is a pleasure and the owner’s responsibility. Basic training is a necessity for all dogs and especially for large breeds such as the Bernese. A puppy kindergarten/socialization class between four and six months of age is recommended, followed by a basic obedience program before the dog reaches one. Big Baby Berners takes a great deal of pride in our dogs and their puppies. We love them very much and want their new families to love them as much. So we do everything we can to ensure that the right puppy goes to the right family.
The puppies are going to be ready to leave at 8 weeks old. They will have their first shot. They will come with a puppy package and blanket with mommy’s scent on it.
Refunds: The seller has the right to cancel this contract at any time before the puppy pick-up. (with return of a deposit). This refund is only applicable if seller cancels this contract. You understand that the deposit is a commitment to buying a puppy and is not refundable if the buyer changes his mind.
There are several reasons for this, such as the fact that other potential families may not put a deposit down because of the number of reservations ahead of them. When a buyer backs out, there are also typically additional expenses incurred in seeking out a replacement home and caring for the puppy in the mean time. For these and other reasons, there will be no refund of the deposit if buyer backs out.
BALANCE:
The balance is due at the time of delivery or pick up and payment shall be made in cash Only. Remember that shipping is extra and must be included in the final payment. (No puppies will be shipped until they are paid in full)
PICKING UP PUPPIES- Puppies will be picked up as soon as possible after 7 to 8 weeks of age. Puppies will only be held past 8 weeks of age by prior arrangement with the seller. If the buyer does not pick up the puppy by 9 weeks of age and no arrangements have been made, the buyer will lose the deposit and the seller will re-sell the puppy to someone else.
Puppy is not sold until FULL payment is received by the breeder. Final payment needs to be either cash or money order.
